Seriously, though, I understand that you’re a busy person. You don’t always have the time or resources to create great B2B copy that reaches your target audience. Often, even knowing what content to create can be a challenge.

We’ll discuss the type of B2B copy you need, your objectives and the timescale you have in mind. This can be over the phone, a video call or, if you are based within 15 miles of Peterborough, I can visit your premises.

Proposal

I will email you a contract of work, clearly outlining what is to be completed, the cost and agreed deadlines. Once approved, signed and returned to me I can beginI will require a 50% deposit at this stage.

Research

 Along with my research, I work closely with you to get more information on what your business offers, who your typical client is and the tone of voice you’d like to convey – everything I need to create your content.

Now I have a great understanding of what your goals are, who your customers are and what messages you want to communicate. I then get to work writing killer B2B copy that fits everything we have discussed.

Feedback

You receive your first draft, by the deadline agreed, which I’m sure you’ll love. Of course, I want you to be 100% happy so two rounds of reasonable revisions can be made free of charge, if needed

Your final copy will be delivered straight into your inbox – figuratively wrapped and tied in a neat little bow! I will send you an invoice on completion of the work. Payment is due within 14 days of the work received. 

FAQs

How much do you charge?  

My copywriting services are completely tailored to your business’ needs. Therefore, there’s no ‘one price fits all’ when it comes to the cost. My rates are typically based per project, so I can provide you with a fixed price before the work is carried out.  
Full day: £200 
Half day: £120 

How long will it take to write my copy?  

This depends on the project and on my current workload. I will be honest and up front with you from the beginning on how long it will take and we will agree a deadline before the work is started. I am used to turning copy round quickly and working to tight deadlines. However, for me, quality is everything. I take pride in my work and don’t churn out below par copy as quickly as possible. Also, please take into account that copywriting is more than just typing. There’s also research, understanding the reader, editing, proofreading and making any requested changes.  

What are your areas of expertise?  

With six years of working for industry-leading coach and bus publications, innovation and technology in the coach and bus world are a particular interest and expertise of mine. Managed cyber security is another strong suit. I can tell my SOC from my SIEM and can help you communicate the importance of investing in managed cyber security to your prospects. I also have a knack for turning technical topics into easy-to-understand, dare I say it, enjoyable content. So, creating B2B content for managed IT and SaaS providers is also an area of expertise. 

Is there anything you need from me?  

Working with me is very much a two-way relationship. In order for me to write effective B2B copy, I need to know what you do, why you do it and how you want to position yourself. We will work closely together in the beginning, so I can gain a clear understanding of your offering and its benefits. Typical items that will help me include: 

Buyer personas of the customers you want to attract 
A company overview and what it is you offer
A style guide, including your preferred tone of voice 
A content brief  
Background material, such as existing collateral about your topic.
